No-one would have believed in the last year of the twentieth century, that a once proud original band like BAiT would be forced to tour the pub and club circuit of Great Britain, playing (mainly) other people's music just to pay for their PA (backline, microphones, kebabs.. etc.)
Still with 60 gigs and nearly as many 1999 venues behind us, we've made loads of friends and collected enough stories to pen a few novels, not to mention chill the very lifeblood out of any other would-be musicians….
2000 AD finds the three of us happily wrapped head-to-toe in aluminium foil and sitting patiently in our hover-cars preparing to launch back into playing our own music in carefully selected venues, hopefully near you.
Anyway, although the last 1000 years were a bit busy we did manage to record a drum-line here, do the odd vocal take there and generally cobble together 11 of our 30-plus songs to make ready for recording.
So, what you have in your hands is BAiT's first home-grown album.
Try not to drop it.
Have a listen, and hopefully see you soon.
